In this fun, creative class, students will learn how to handbuild planters, vases, and jewelry boxes with ceramic sculptor and mother Sheilah Bolger. Her belief is that every child is an artist. She enjoys working alongside kids in the simple fact that they just create and don’t over critique. Sheilah Bolger holds a bachelors degree of fine art in sculpture from the university of Massachusetts Amherst. She worked in the design industry for over 10 years designing women’s clothing and ceramic dinner wear. Beyond design Sheilah taught hand building and tile making in clay in an after school program with elementary age children in Cambridge. She loves knitting, working with textiles and recently exhibited a small series of paintings locally in Northampton. Sheilah is an avid swimmer but biggest enjoyment comes being a mom.
Register SOON!! (skips Memorial day May 3oth) 4 classes: $168
